White Christmas Mojitos Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 fresh mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/2 cup coconut rum
  • 1/2 cup club soda (or sparkling water)
  • Ice cubes
  • Coconut flakes (for garnish, optional)
  • Lime slices (for garnish, optional)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Muddle the Mint and Lime

  1. Muddle Ingredients: In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and lime wedges. Sprinkle the sugar over the top. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down on the mint and lime to release the juices and essential oils. Be careful not to tear the mint leaves too much.

Step 2: Mix the Cocktail

  1. Add Rum: Pour in the coconut rum and stir to combine the muddled mixture with the rum.
  2. Add Ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Top with Club Soda: Pour the club soda over the ice, filling the glass. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

Step 3: Garnish and Serve

  1. Garnish: Add a few extra mint leaves and a slice of lime on top. If desired, sprinkle some coconut flakes for a festive touch.
