  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cranberries (sweetened or unsweetened)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Cream the Butter and Sugars

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

Step 4: Add Chocolate and Cranberries

  1. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Step 5: Scoop and Bake

  1. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set but still soft.

Step 6: Cool and Serve

  1. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  2. Serve warm or store in an airtight container for later enjoyment!
