White Chocolate Cranberry Blondies Recipe

For the Blondies:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cranberries (sweetened or unsweetened)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Baking Pan: Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Step 2: Make the Blondie Batter

  1. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add Egg and Vanilla: Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Mix Dry into Wet: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in Add-ins: Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries until evenly distributed.

Step 3: Bake the Blondies

  1. Spread Batter: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  2. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Step 4: Cool and Serve
