Turkey & Egg Breakfast Skillet Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup bell peppers (diced, any color)
  • 1/2 cup onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, avocado slices, hot sauce

 


Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Turkey

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

Step 2: Add Vegetables

  1. Add the diced onion and bell peppers to the skillet with the turkey. Sauté for about 3–4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 3: Cook the Eggs

  1. Make four small wells in the turkey and vegetable mixture.
  2. Crack an egg into each well. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for about 5–7 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness (runny or firm).

Step 4: Serve

  1. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  2. Add shredded cheese, avocado slices, or hot sauce if desired.
