Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak (or your preferred cut, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Steak
- Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Sear the Steak
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Cream Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning (if using). Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet, tossing to coat them in the rich cream sauce.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or alongside crusty bread.
