Tasty Coconut Cream Oats Recipe

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey, to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh fruit (such as bananas, berries, or mango, for topping)
  • Chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts, for topping)
  • Extra shredded coconut (for garnish, optional)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Combine Ingredients

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, coconut milk, shredded coconut, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.

Step 2: Cook the Oats

  1. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy and have absorbed most of the liquid.

Step 3: Serve

  1. Remove from heat and portion the coconut cream oats into serving bowls.
  2. Top with fresh fruit, chopped nuts, and extra shredded coconut if desired.
