Strawberry Matcha Overnight Oats Recipe

  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oats

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, milk, matcha powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt (if using). Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
  2. Add Strawberries: Gently fold in the sliced strawberries, reserving a few for topping later.
  3. Optional Chia Seeds: If using chia seeds, you can add them at this stage for extra texture and nutrition.

Step 2: Refrigerate

  1. Store: Transfer the mixture into a jar or airtight container. Seal it and place it in the refrigerator.
  2. Chill: Let the oats soak overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the flavors to meld and the oats to soften.

Step 3: Serve

  1. Top and Enjoy: In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Top with the reserved strawberries and any additional toppings you like, such as nuts, seeds, or a drizzle of honey.
