Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oats
- Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, milk, matcha powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt (if using). Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
- Add Strawberries: Gently fold in the sliced strawberries, reserving a few for topping later.
- Optional Chia Seeds: If using chia seeds, you can add them at this stage for extra texture and nutrition.
Step 2: Refrigerate
- Store: Transfer the mixture into a jar or airtight container. Seal it and place it in the refrigerator.
- Chill: Let the oats soak overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the flavors to meld and the oats to soften.
Step 3: Serve
- Top and Enjoy: In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Top with the reserved strawberries and any additional toppings you like, such as nuts, seeds, or a drizzle of honey.
