Strawberries and Cream Overnight Oats Recipe

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or any yogurt of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added fiber)
  • Pinch of salt

 


Instructions

Step 1: Combine Ingredients

  1. Mix the Base: In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.

Step 2: Layer with Strawberries

  1. Add Strawberries: Gently fold in the sliced strawberries, reserving a few for topping.

Step 3: Refrigerate

  1. Transfer to Jars: Divide the mixture into two jars or containers with lids. Top with the reserved strawberries.
  2. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Enjoy: In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If desired, add a splash of milk to loosen the mixture. Enjoy cold or warm it up in the microwave for a minute.
