- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added fiber)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Step 1: Combine Ingredients
- Mix the Base: In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
Step 2: Layer with Strawberries
- Add Strawberries: Gently fold in the sliced strawberries, reserving a few for topping.
Step 3: Refrigerate
- Transfer to Jars: Divide the mixture into two jars or containers with lids. Top with the reserved strawberries.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
Step 4: Serve
- Enjoy: In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If desired, add a splash of milk to loosen the mixture. Enjoy cold or warm it up in the microwave for a minute.
