Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mango Puree
- In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mangoes, sugar, water, lime juice, lime zest, chili powder, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or spice level by adding more sugar or chili powder as desired.
Step 2: Freeze the Sorbet
- Pour the mango mixture into a shallow, airtight container.
- Place the container in the freezer and freeze for about 4–6 hours, or until the sorbet is firm.
Step 3: Serve
- Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop into bowls or cups.
- Optionally, garnish with additional lime zest or a sprinkle of chili powder for an extra kick.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing flavors.
