  • 2 ripe mangoes (peeled and diced)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on sweetness of fruit)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest (optional)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit Puree

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the diced mangoes, sliced strawberries, sugar, water, lime juice, and lime zest (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar.

Step 2: Freeze the Sorbet

  1. Pour the fruit mixture into a shallow, airtight container.
  2. Place the container in the freezer and freeze for about 4–6 hours, or until the sorbet is firm.

Step 3: Serve

  1. Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop into bowls or cups.
  2. Optionally, garnish with additional fresh strawberries or mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
