Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
• Drain Mozzarella: If using mozzarella balls packed in water, drain and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Step 2: Wrap the Mozzarella
• Wrap with Prosciutto: Take a slice of prosciutto and cut it in half lengthwise (if it’s too wide). Wrap each mozzarella ball with a slice of prosciutto, ensuring it’s covered evenly. If you like, place a fresh basil leaf on the mozzarella before wrapping.
Step 3: Assemble and Serve
• Secure with Toothpicks: Use toothpicks or skewers to secure the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella bites.
• Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze: Arrange the bites on a serving platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze for added flavor (optional).
