Prosciutto and Honey Burrata Pizza Recipe

  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz burrata cheese (fresh)
  • 4 oz prosciutto (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup arugula (or fresh spinach)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

Step 2: Prepare the Pizza

  1. If using homemade dough, roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  2. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Brush the crust with olive oil to enhance flavor and help it crisp up.
  3. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and distribute it evenly over the pizza crust.

Step 3: Bake the Pizza

  1. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Step 4: Add Toppings

  1. Once the pizza is out of the oven, layer the prosciutto slices over the top.
  2. Top with fresh arugula for a peppery crunch.
  3. Drizzle honey over the pizza for a touch of sweetness. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves for added flavor and color.

Serve

  1. Slice the pizza and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy the delightful combination of flavors.
