Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 8 oz burrata cheese (fresh)
- 4 oz prosciutto (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup arugula (or fresh spinach)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
Step 2: Prepare the Pizza
- If using homemade dough, roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Brush the crust with olive oil to enhance flavor and help it crisp up.
- Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and distribute it evenly over the pizza crust.
Step 3: Bake the Pizza
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Step 4: Add Toppings
- Once the pizza is out of the oven, layer the prosciutto slices over the top.
- Top with fresh arugula for a peppery crunch.
- Drizzle honey over the pizza for a touch of sweetness. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves for added flavor and color.
Serve
- Slice the pizza and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy the delightful combination of flavors.
