• 2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped
• 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
• 4 cups cold water
• 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

Step 1: Blend the Fruits
1. Combine Ingredients: In a blender, combine the chopped pineapple, halved strawberries, and 2 cups of cold water.
2. Blend: Blend until smooth and well combined.
Step 2: Strain the Mixture
1. Strain: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove the pulp. Use a spatula to press down and extract as much liquid as possible.
2. Add Remaining Water: Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water to the pitcher.
Step 3: Sweeten and Flavor
1. Sweeten: Stir in the sugar, adjusting the amount to your taste. If desired, add the lime juice for a hint of acidity.
2. Mix Well: Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Step 4: Serve
1. Chill: Refrigerate the agua fresca for at least 30 minutes to chill, or serve immediately over ice.
2. Garnish: Pour into glasses over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves or a slice of lime if desired.
