Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Gnocchi
- Boil Gnocchi: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the top (about 2-3 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Chicken
- Season the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the Chicken: Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- Add Butter and Garlic: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Combine Gnocchi and Chicken: Add the cooked gnocchi and crispy chicken back to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Step 4: Serve
- Plate and Garnish: Transfer the garlic chicken and gnocchi to serving plates. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
