Ingredients
• 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
• 1 cup pecans, chopped
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 egg (for egg wash)
• Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
1. Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Step 2: Prepare the Filling
1. Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Mix until well combined.
Step 3: Roll the Dough
1. Unroll Crescent Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
2. Fill the Rolls: Place about 1 tablespoon of the pecan filling at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, encasing the filling.
Step 4: Bake
1. Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
2. Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the crescent rolls for a golden finish.
3. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
Step 5: Serve
1. Cool and Dust: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. If desired, dust with powdered sugar.
2. Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy these delicious treats!
