- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Step 2: Roast the Brussels Sprouts
- Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down for maximum crispiness.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sprouts are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.
Step 3: Add Parmesan
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts.
- Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 4: Serve
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
