Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipe

  • Author: I

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Step 2: Roast the Brussels Sprouts

  1. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down for maximum crispiness.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sprouts are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.

Step 3: Add Parmesan

  1. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts.
  2. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy.
