- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2: Make the Crust
- In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form a crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Step 3: Layer the Filling
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch chips over the condensed milk.
- Evenly distribute the shredded coconut and chopped nuts on top.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the layered ingredients.
Step 4: Bake
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the top is golden.
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before transferring to the refrigerator to cool completely.
Step 5: Cut and Serve
- Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper (if used) and cut into squares or rectangles.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
