For the Cajun Shrimp:

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

For the Salad:

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup crispy bacon bits (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cajun Shrimp

  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2–3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Caesar Dressing

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Assemble the Salad

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese, and crispy bacon bits (if using).
  2. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat.
  3. Add the cooked Cajun shrimp on top of the salad.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Serve the salad with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
