Hot Honey Salmon Bites Recipe

  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
• Salt and pepper (to taste)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1-2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste, such as Sriracha or your favorite hot sauce)
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
• Chopped green onions (for garnish)
• Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Salmon
1. Season Salmon: Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Make the Hot Honey Sauce
1. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika (if using) until well combined.

Step 3: Cook the Salmon
1. Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
2. Add Salmon: Add the salmon cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is golden brown and cooked through.
3. Add Sauce: Pour the hot honey sauce over the salmon bites in the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, tossing gently to coat the salmon evenly in the sauce.

Step 4: Serve
1. Plate the Bites: Remove the salmon bites from the skillet and place them on a serving platter.
2. Garnish: Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
