- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) or the highest setting your oven allows. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
Step 2: Prepare the Pizza
- Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add Toppings: Arrange the sliced pepperoni (or your choice of toppings) evenly over the cheese.
Step 3: Bake
- Bake the Pizza: Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven or onto the pizza stone. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Step 4: Drizzle and Serve
- Add Hot Honey: Once the pizza is out of the oven, immediately drizzle the hot honey over the top. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Garnish with fresh basil leaves if using, then slice and serve while hot.
