Homemade Air Fryer Strawberries Recipe

  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Strawberries

  1. Wash and Hull: Rinse the strawberries under cold water, hull them, and cut them in half.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the halved strawberries with honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt. Gently toss to coat the strawberries evenly.

Step 2: Air Fry the Strawberries

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Arrange Strawberries: Place the coated strawberries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
  3. Cook: Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. The strawberries should be tender and slightly caramelized.

Step 3: Serve

  1. Cool Slightly: Allow the strawberries to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Enjoy: Serve warm as a topping for yogurt, ice cream, pancakes, or enjoy them on their own!
