Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak (or ribeye, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary (chopped, or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (chopped, or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Steak
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season generously with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Cook the Steak
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add the steak pieces in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Sear for about 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
- Sauté for about 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Step 4: Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked steak bites back to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
