• 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 4–6 cloves garlic, minced (adjust to taste)
• 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme
• 1 teaspoon salt
• Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
• Crusty bread or fresh vegetables for serving


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dip
1. Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, red pepper flakes (if using), dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
2. Add Olive Oil: Pour the extra virgin olive oil over the garlic mixture and stir to combine.
3. Let it Sit: Allow the dip to sit for at least 10–15 minutes to let the flavors meld together. For an even richer flavor, let it sit for up to an hour at room temperature.

Step 2: Serve
1. Garnish: Before serving, stir in the chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color.
