For the Roll-Ups:

  • 4 large flour tortillas or flatbreads
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as pecans or walnuts)
  • Fresh parsley or mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Make the Cream Cheese Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Step 2: Assemble the Roll-Ups

  • Lay a tortilla or flatbread on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface.
  • Spoon a layer of cranberry sauce over the cream cheese, spreading it evenly.
  • If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts over the cranberry sauce for added texture and flavor.
  • Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

Step 3: Chill the Roll-Ups

  • Wrap each roll-up in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Step 4: Slice and Serve

  • Once chilled, remove the plastic wrap and slice each roll-up into bite-sized pieces.
  • Arrange the slices on a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley or mint leaves if desired.
