  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownies:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

For the Decorations:

  • 1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 chocolate-covered pretzels (for antlers)
  • 12 red M&M’s or red candies (for noses)
  • 12 candy eyes (or mini marshmallows with chocolate chips)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2: Make the Brownie Batter

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. Stir in the granulated sugar, mixing until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Step 3: Bake the Brownies

  1. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake.
  3. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before decorating.

Step 4: Decorate the Brownies

  1. Once cooled, spread the chocolate frosting evenly over the top of the brownies.
  2. Break the chocolate-covered pretzels in half and place two pieces at the top of each brownie square to resemble antlers.
  3. Place a red M&M or red candy in the center of each brownie for the nose, and add two candy eyes above the nose.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Cut the brownies into squares and serve. Enjoy your festive Rudolph Brownies!
