- 1 head of romaine lettuce (or butter lettuce)
- 8 ounces deli meats (such as salami, ham, or turkey)
- 4 ounces provolone cheese (sliced)
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers (sliced)
- 1/4 cup black olives (sliced)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (or spinach)
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing (low-carb, or homemade)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Lettuce
- Carefully separate the leaves of the romaine lettuce, wash them under cold water, and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Step 2: Assemble the Wraps
- On each lettuce leaf, layer the deli meats, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, black olives, and fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle a small amount of Italian dressing over the top of the ingredients.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Wrap and Serve
- Fold the sides of the lettuce over the filling and roll it up tightly.
- Place the wraps seam-side down on a plate. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.
