For the Pizza Dough:
- 1 package (16 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (for dusting)
For the Cinnamon Topping:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the Cream Cheese Icing:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Pizza Dough
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a pizza pan or a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated sugar cookie dough into a large circle (about 12 inches in diameter) to form the pizza crust.
- Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to the prepared pizza pan and press it down to fit.
Step 2: Make the Cinnamon Topping
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the cookie dough crust.
Step 3: Bake the Dessert Pizza
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Step 4: Prepare the Cream Cheese Icing
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. If the icing is too thick, add milk a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
Step 5: Serve
- Once the cinnamon dessert pizza has cooled, drizzle the cream cheese icing over the top.
- Cut into wedges and serve warm or at room temperature.
