  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

For the Crescent Dough:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

Step 3: Assemble the Crescent Bars

  1. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, sealing any seams to form an even layer.
  2. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the crescent dough.
  3. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the filling, sealing the seams.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Dust the top with powdered sugar.
  2. Slice into bars and serve chilled or at room temperature.
