  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup jalapenos (fresh or pickled, diced; adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: 1/4 cup crispy bacon bits


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

  1. If not using pre-cooked chicken, cook chicken breasts in boiling water or bake them until fully cooked, then shred or dice.
  2. Dice the jalapenos and chop the green onions.

Step 2: Make the Salad

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, diced jalapenos, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions to the creamy mixture. If using, add the crispy bacon bits.
  4. Gently fold all the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated with the creamy dressing.

Step 3: Chill and Serve

  1. Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
