Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Recipe

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Step 4: Combine

  1. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  2. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  2. Serve hot, drizzled with the creamy sauce.
