Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Step 4: Combine
- Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
- Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.
Step 5: Serve
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve hot, drizzled with the creamy sauce.
