Ingredients
For the Chicken:
• 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice level)
• Salt and pepper to taste
For the Ramen:
• 4 cups chicken broth
• 2 cups water
• 2 packs of instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon sriracha (or more to taste)
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
• Fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)
• Lime wedges (for serving, optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
• Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
• Season Chicken: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
• Cook Chicken: Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6–7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
Step 2: Prepare the Broth
• Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
• Add Broth and Water: Pour in the chicken broth and water, bringing it to a simmer.
• Add Noodles: Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually about 3–4 minutes).
Step 3: Make it Creamy
• Add Cream and Seasonings: Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the heavy cream, soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil. Adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha if desired.
• Slice Chicken: While the noodles are cooking, slice the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Step 4: Serve
• Combine: Add the sliced chicken back into the skillet and stir to combine everything.
• Garnish: Serve the ramen in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro. Add lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
