  • 6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice or pasta (optional, for a heartier dish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, and mixed vegetables (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Taste the mixture and add salt and pepper as needed.

Step 3: Assemble the Casserole

  1. Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  2. If using, stir in the cooked rice or pasta to the mixture before baking.

Step 4: Bake the Casserole

  1. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
