  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

 

 

 

For the Coffee Icing:

 

 

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Milk (as needed for consistency)

 


Instructions

 

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

 

 

  1. Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, remaining sugar, salt, and egg. Add the yeast mixture and stir to combine.
  3. Add Flour: Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. You may need to adjust with more flour if the dough is too sticky.
  4. Knead the Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
