Ingredients
• 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Honey Mustard Glaze:
• 1/4 cup honey
• 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
• 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Salmon
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Season Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 2: Make the Honey Mustard Glaze
1. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced rosemary, thyme, and garlic until well combined.
Step 3: Bake the Salmon
1. Place Salmon in Baking Dish: Arrange the salmon fillets in a baking dish lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
2. Glaze the Salmon: Brush the honey mustard glaze generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
3. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
Step 4: Serve
1. Garnish: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Optionally, garnish with additional fresh herbs or lemon slices.
2. Plate: Serve the salmon with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
