Instructions
Step 1: Blend the Ingredients
- In a food processor or blender, add the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Step 2: Adjust Consistency
- If the mousse is too thick, add a little more almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
Step 3: Chill the Mousse
- Spoon the mousse into individual serving bowls or cups.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to firm up.
Step 4: Serve
- Before serving, you can top the mousse with fresh berries, whipped coconut cream, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
