Chocolate Avocado Mousse Recipe

  • 2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey for non-vegan)
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

 


Instructions

Step 1: Blend the Ingredients

  1. In a food processor or blender, add the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

Step 2: Adjust Consistency

  1. If the mousse is too thick, add a little more almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

Step 3: Chill the Mousse

  1. Spoon the mousse into individual serving bowls or cups.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to firm up.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Before serving, you can top the mousse with fresh berries, whipped coconut cream, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
  2. Serve chilled and enjoy your Chocolate Avocado Mousse.
