Scale
- 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced (such as cremini or button)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups fresh spinach
- 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) or according to the instructions on your pizza crust packaging.
Step 2: Sauté the Mushrooms and Spinach
- Heat Olive Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté Mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5–7 minutes, until they are browned and tender. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Spinach: Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: Assemble the Pizza
- Prepare the Crust: Roll out the pizza crust on a floured surface if necessary. Transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread the sautéed mushroom and spinach mixture evenly over the pizza crust. Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Step 4: Bake the Pizza
- Bake: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Step 5: Drizzle and Serve
- Add Balsamic Glaze: Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Garnish: If desired, add fresh basil leaves for garnish.
- Slice and Enjoy: Slice the pizza and serve warm.
