Baked Feta Dip with Fig Jam and Pecans Recipe

  • 8 ounces feta cheese (block style)
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1/4 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh baguette slices or crackers (for serving)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Feta

  1. Place the block of feta cheese in a small baking dish.
  2. Spoon the fig jam over the top of the feta cheese, spreading it evenly.

Step 3: Add Toppings

  1. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the fig jam.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the top, then sprinkle with fresh thyme, black pepper, and salt.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the feta is warm and slightly softened.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  2. Serve warm with fresh baguette slices or crackers for dipping. Enjoy!
