Ingredients
• 2 flatbreads (store-bought or homemade)
• 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
• 1 ripe avocado, sliced or mashed
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
• 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
• Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2: Prepare the Flatbreads
• Brush with Olive Oil: Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet. Brush each flatbread with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Add Toppings
• Layer Ingredients: Evenly distribute the shredded chicken over the flatbreads.
• Layer Ingredients: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken.
• Layer Ingredients: Add the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion.
Step 4: Bake the Flatbreads
• Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the flatbreads are crispy.
Step 5: Add Avocado and Serve
• Top with Avocado: Remove the flatbreads from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Top with sliced or mashed avocado.
• Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
• Slice and Serve: Slice the flatbreads and serve warm.
