  • 1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup, optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Chopped nuts or seeds (for topping, optional)

 


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Toast

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the slices of bread in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 3–5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, checking to avoid burning.

Step 2: Prepare the Cottage Cheese Mixture

  1. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of cinnamon. Mix until well combined.

Step 3: Assemble the Toast

  1. Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the air fryer and spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly on each slice.
  2. Sprinkle fresh blueberries over the cottage cheese topping. You can add more honey or maple syrup if desired.
  3. If using, sprinkle chopped nuts or seeds on top for added crunch and nutrition.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Serve immediately while the toast is warm and enjoy as a nutritious breakfast or snack.
