5-Ingredient Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

  • Author: I
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, rolled oats, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Step 3: Shape the Cookies

  1. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Press down slightly on each cookie to flatten them a bit, as they won’t spread much during baking.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
