- 1 cup natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Mix the Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, rolled oats, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Step 3: Shape the Cookies
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Press down slightly on each cookie to flatten them a bit, as they won’t spread much during baking.
Step 4: Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
